Nov 4th, 2004 by colin
Yet another evil genius found a county-by-county map of presidential votes. I need to track down a population density map and do some comparisons.

Luci,
USA Today had some numbers regarding the populations of the counties won.
Sq. Miles of Counties Won:
Bush: 2.61 million
Kerry: 511,700
Pop. (2003) of Counties Won:
Bush: 150.9 million
Kerry: 103.6 million
Counties Won by Less than 5% Points:
Bush: 162
Kerry: 131
That link is here: http://www.usatoday.com/news/politicselections/vote2004/countymap.htm
PS - I think you’re the first person to ever do a trackback to me! Thanks, man! :)
Colin,
This website has a map of the US population density. Cool stuff.
Urgh. Okay, not so successful with the linkage. The pic is on my site, download away.
